Secondary Associated Business School

 The school has more than 120 – year history. With the total number of students 902 in school year 2004/2005 it belongs to the most numerous schools in the region. The school provides wide choice of study opportunities in 13 training branches, 3 study branches, 6 supplementary superstructure branches, and having accreditation it organizes requalification courses. Study branch Enterprising in trade and tourism is very attractive for wide public. Our graduates can obtain the certificate of the Slovak Industry and Trade Chamber. Within vocational training the school is running canteen, confectionery with own production and provides service in own hairdressing and beauty salon, joinery and car repair service. High quality of theoretical and practical education is reflected in significant achievements within regional, national and international competitions. The school is also active in the field of European projects such as Socrates and Leonardo; thanks to cooperation with the partners from Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Finland and Cyprus it offers the students exchanges and possible job abroad after finishing study.

Our graduates can obtain the IES international certificate.

 This school year our school took part in international project CERTIFICATE supported by IES – International Education Society. Aim of the project is evaluating of education institutions in international level. Our school was awarded the BB rating – „ High quality institution with very good professional standard“. We got possibility to provide our school leavers an international certificate IES in English and native language and, if necessary also in German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. The certificate is world-wide accepted giving potential employer a complete information on education and institution level.
